Warranty for Private Customers
Warranty is the statutory liability for defects that exist at the time the goods are handed over. Defects that arise at a later point in time are generally not covered by the warranty.
The statutory warranty period for private customers is two years from the date the goods are handed over.
Within the first 12 months after handover, it is legally presumed that a defect already existed at the time of handover, unless proven otherwise. From the 13th month onwards, the burden of proof that the defect already existed at the time of handover lies with the customer.
The warranty does not cover defects caused by:
- improper or faulty installation or assembly,
- failure to follow installation, care, or usage instructions,
- use of unsuitable materials or tools,
- excessive use or normal wear and tear.
In the event of a justified warranty claim, warranty service is provided in accordance with statutory provisions (§§ 922 ff ABGB).
We are entitled to remedy the defect by repair or replacement of the goods.
Please inspect the goods carefully upon collection and notify us of any obvious defects without delay.
Note
This warranty information applies to private customers.
For business customers (B2B), separate regulations apply in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions.
